Our philosophy |
Clan Gatherings wishes to offer clothing that is elegant and classic, but we strive also to offer our customers clothing that is practical and wearable. Simplicity, comfort and femininity are our watchwords. Women should be wearing clothing that they enjoy, not a label that inflates some distant designers ego. Our clothing is for women who enjoy tartan and want to enjoy their femininity and celtic connections with clothing that blends elegance and comfort. |
Clan Gatherings clothing is designed by Nina Lynoe (nee MacDonald), who was born here in Glasgow. |

Clan Gatherings has been organised to ensure that Nina is able to ensure the highest standards are met at every step of the production process. All the individuals that work for the company have different talents and craft skills to offer however, and Clan Gatherings believes that such skills and abilities should be utilised to the utmost. This approach allows for the fostering of a friendly competitive spirit and a great deal of individual pride to be shown for our work. |
Our history |
We have been increasingly disillusioned in recent years by the lack of quality clothing on offer to women who wish to show their Scottish connections with modern, stylish clothing, or simply for women who enjoy tartan. Men of course have been wearing the kilt in increasing numbers in recent years. We wish to offer women who love tartan a stylish, feminine and comfortable range of clothing through which they can portray their love of the tartan, the most famous badge of identity in the world. |
